Wandering Writers is a walking and writing event. If participants are feeling ready to walk for the advertised length of time that’s great! We suggest you bring a water bottle, snacks, hat, sunscreen and, depending on the weather, a warm jacket and/or wet weather gear. Our writing tours take place in a variety of locations such as laneways, cobbled streets, parklands, along creeks and rivers so we suggest participants wear appropriate walking footwear.

If you have any underlying health conditions, and if necessary, consult with your physician before undertaking Wandering Writers. We do take regular breaks along the way to stop and write.

It is the participants responsibility to notify the facilitators of Writing Days of any medical and physical issues that they know may impact your participation in the walk, and we understand that the walk may be physically strenuous for some.

By agreeing, you as a participant of the walk, agree to voluntarily participate with full knowledge that there is risk and that Writing Days as its facilitators shall be neither liable nor responsible for any loss, injury, or death caused directly or indirectly.
